Thought For Thought Translation

Thought for thought translations prioritize the meaning of a passage rather than exact grammar structure. These are helpful to provide a different perspective on scripture. The downside to T.F.T translations is they are dependent on the quality of translator. Luckily, Monsignor Ronald Knox was an excellent translator and wrote a small booklet on bible translations that is worth reading.
